Lets start with our name! Velt came from the word "velvet".

Just like the feeling of velvet, our mission is to create an environment that feels warm, fun & inviting. A place that's not so cold & clinical, we want to create a vibe and a place of no judgement, just like you're walking into home!

Come in your pyjamas if you'd like, come early with your laptop and get some work done, or just come to the salon and relax before your appointment while eating some lollies and watch The Kardashians (yep, we always have it playing in the waitroom).

OUR QUALITY & TRAINING

Velt owner, Tahlia, has been in the beauty industry since 2014, and has furthered her specialised training every single year since.

She has trained in Russia, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Albury, as well as endless online trainings from global industry experts. This consistent training is due to the belief that extensive knowledge of the industry & products is key to the success of a great lash and brow artist.

Tahlia trains all of our staff with our Velt methods, all of our girls take on this passion just as much, and it shows in their work! The Velt team is what truely makes this business so special.

You can rest assure that if you love one of our girls lash or brow methods, you will be able to trust the whole team just as much, as we have constant training to ensure we all follow the same standards and methods.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We promise to always aim for the highest of standards, to not rush our staff & services, and ensure quality is delivered every time. We will always continue to innovate and provide consistent training to our staff. To be able to continue to provide these services and quality, we ask you please follow and respect our policies and recommendations below when booking an appointment with us.

Cancellation policy

Appointments cancelled with 8 hours or less notice of appointment will incur a 50% late cancellation fee. Appointments cancelled within 2 hours of the of appointment, or a no show, will incur a 80% no show fee.

Booking fee on appointments

Some of our appointments require a booking fee, these are strictly non-refundable, however if more than 8 hours notice prior to appointment is provided, booking fee will be reverted into a credit to be used on any future appointment or products.

Changes to your appointment on the day

If you require any changes to your appointment, VELT must be notified at-least 8 hours before your appointment. If an appointment is shortened/modified at the time of appointment, you may be charged the original reserved price.

No babies/small children policy

Velt has a strict no babies or small children policy, this is to keep both our clients, their children and our staff safe.

Before coming to your appointment:

Lash extensions -

Please come with NO eye make up on.

If you're attending a full set of extensions, please come with no current eyelash extensions on, as we do not leave time for removal within our full set times.

Clients must have filled out an eyelash extension consent form.

Please come with NO eye makeup on.

Have waited your full 8 - 10 weeks if you have previously had a lash lift done.

Please come exfoliated & shaved/waxed.

Come with loose clothing to get into after your tan.
